2008 Rock to North Little Rock St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Parade Entry Check-in Times: 

11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
(We ask that float entries arrive as early as possible for placement.)

Parade Start Time:

1:00 p.m.

Prizes:             

Best Float - $200.00
Best Decorated Car, Truck, or Motorcycle - $100.00
Most entertaining group - $100.00
Best Dressed Walker - $50
Best and Most Festive Leprechaun - $50
Judges for the awards will not be associated with the parade organization.

Route: 

The 2008 Annual Rock to North Little Rock St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at 1 p.m. at 4th and Rector in downtown Little Rock near the Democrat Gazette Building and will travel north on Rector to 3rd Street, to Sherman, turning left onto President Clinton Blvd., traveling through River Market, crossing the Main Street Bridge into North Little Rock, traveling through the Argenta Historic District ending at 6th and Main.(Please note this route is tentative pending final approval of the Parade Route application to the cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock.)

Dancing at the Crossroads:

Following the Parade there will be a Dancing at the Crossroads event for the public at the outside stage behind Cregeen's Irish Pub at Main and Broadway in North Little Rock.

The event will feature a display of traditional Irish dancing (by the McCafferty School of Irish Dance and the O'Donovan School of Irish Dance) and Celtic music (by the Lyon College Pipe Band form Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas.
